1. Wunderlist
At one time, we used to make to-do lists on paper… like we actually wrote them down and then crossed things off as we did them. Those days are long gone, and now Wunderlist keeps us organized day in and day out. You can add action items from your phone or computer, give them a deadline, and set a reminder. And the best part – when you complete an item it gives a really satisfying “ding” to let you know that it’s been moved to the completed list.
2. Office Lens
Capturing images of receipts and other business documents has never been easier. With Office Lens it automatically crops images so that you get the relevant information and allows you to store it or easily upload it to your accounting system. Without Office Lens we’d probably be buried waist-deep in shoe boxes full of paper receipts.
3. Starbucks
Let’s face it, coffee makes the world go ‘round… especially for busy professionals. Okay, so the Starbucks app for Windows just got released and it’s not extraordinary or anything, but as Starbucks fans, we’re REALLY excited! You can reload the balance on your card, order and pay through the apps, and also track your rewards progress. What more could you want really?
4. LastPass
These days every site requires a password, which is why the average American has 1,642 passwords to keep track of. Okay, we just made that statistic up, but without LastPass we’d be perpetually locked out of every site and program that we don’t use every day. You can store logins, secure notes, and also form fills. The comments section for each login is a great place to store the answers for your security questions so that you’re ultra-prepared when it comes time to login to places with multiple security requirements.
5. Endomondo
As an entrepreneur it’s just as important to take care of yourself as it is your business, which is why this fitness app makes our top 5 list. Endomondo accurately tracks a ton of different forms of exercise and even lets you form groups and join community challenges. They make keeping track of your workouts a breeze and send you monthly progress reports so that you can feel good aboit your accomplishments.
Note: We were not paid to mention or endorse any of these apps – we just find them useful.
